DON’T, Bump Start or tow start in reverse or G-Gear, as they are both very low and have the potential to destroy your gearbox as a result of the torque multiplication.
.. and an obvious corollary is that if reversing in a Syncro on a grippy surface, take it easy! High speed reversing and then suddenly lifting-off would put much the same loads through the gearbox.
DON’T tow on a spectacle lift (with prop shaft installed)
DO Let your MOT station know that it is permanent 4 wheel drive, for the brake test they can use a decellerometer.
DO rotate your tyres
DO run evenly worn tyres
